So Colassal Cave in Vail is an awesome, very large cave that you could take many different tours of. My sister and I took the basic tour, which is 1/2 mile loop that goes down six stories at one point. There are walkways and stairs and handrails and is fairly lighted so it's easy to do. There also have a ladder tour and something they call a wild tour. It was an awesome experience but I could never, ever do the ladder tour and a big hell no to the wild tour.

Ha, I don't think I'd fancy a ladder or wild tour, either! But that's a cool stalagtite pic.

Thanks! Yeah, those other tours are in areas of the cave that aren't lighted so the only source of light are those miner's hats. And it involves ropes and climbing down into dark spaces. Nope. Nope and nope.
