Title: So Little Space Left for Schoolwork
Summary: What George had dedicated for schoolwork had been replaced by movies of giant dinosaurs.
A/N: Trying to finish up some of my flavors. Actually, this was written a little while back, but I only got around to posting it now. Whoops.
George could still feel the drums from the movie's closing song pound away at his brain. Even when he and Flynn had left the movie theaters, he could still feel the synths rushing up his spine. What so little space left in there for his schoolwork was now inhabited by images of dinosaurs stomping through a jungle. These thoughts would've been a fun thing a month before the final exams. Now, though...
Flynn, on the other hand, wasn't too fazed with the coming exams. "Man, I think I'm going to have dinosaurs on my mind all this week! Don't you think so too, George?"
George was too busy worrying to answer him--as well as pay attention to the pole up ahead. His forehead met metal, and it triggered a recoil from him.
"Guess we both have short attention spans, eh?" Flynn laughed. George sneered at him.
"Why again did you drag me away from my books?" he said.
"Oh, lighten up," said Flynn. "We could all use some time away from the books, anyways."
"Maybe after the finals, we could?"
Flynn laughed once more. "But it can't hurt to enjoy, maybe even just a little, eh?"
His words fell on deaf ears. George was hoping Flynn could say the same thing after exams.
