He leaned back to admire his handiwork. Wires tangled, coding snarled, sparks ready to fly, bombs ready to burst. It was stunning; gorgeous, really. Something so chaotic and yet so orderly—utterly spontaneous and perfectly planned—it was a paradox, just like him. The reasonable madman. The lawful anarchist.

They would probably call him insane. A terrorist, almost certainly. Both were true. But the one word he would not tolerate was unjust. Working against justice.

He wasn't working against justice. He was being justice.

Let the welfare of the people be the supreme law.” He laughed. “Well, the people are dissatisfied.”

Is he planning to actually leave before he trips that thing off, by any chance? I think insane might definitely cover it. On a massive ego trip might work as well. Nicely done :)

Oooh, I like the sound of this guy; it's nice to read about a well-intentioned extremist every now and then. I shudder to think about what he could do with those weapons, though...
