Story: Radial: Unravel
Challenge: Marmalade #1 - Cell Phone; Fudge Ripple #23 - Lust
Word Count: 100
Summary: Alex's texts are direct and to the point. And he's never learned the art of subtlety either. Or the word 'please'.
Notes: I mentioned something like this for yesterday's prompt to a friend but couldn't find the full idea until the inconvenient time of 9AM this morning. I only wrote it about half an hour ago, before it could escape again, so it's really kinda quick... Considering I picked up these two flavours for helping with my remaining ones, they're kind of inspiring on their own - and apparently glued together.
The cellphone, with its best imitation of a giant, rectangular spider, vibrated its way across Milos’s quilt and almost scared the life out of him. He swiped his thumb across the screen, resenting it distracting him from his laptop.
Over in 10 minutes.
He stared down at it, brow furrowed, and tapped out a quick reply. Why?
Want to fuck.
Oh. Sometimes he wondered if Alex knew he wasn’t paying per character for texts.
He flipped the lid closed and rolled onto his back, staring up at the ceiling, and wondered if it was possible to get a lust-letter instead?
