Vanilla #19 - Games / Sports

Author: Regret
Rating: PG
Challenge: Vanilla #19 - Games / Sports
Toppings: Cherry on top (only speech).
Extras: Pocky
Word Count: 93
Summary: Sometimes Jonathan will do anything to get his own way.
Notes: This is mostly notable for one thing: I've gotten so back into the swing of writing that I wrote this yesterday, in my sketchbook, halfway through a board game with friends!  Luckily, none of my friends are prone to being like Jonathan, for which I'm eternally grateful.  *g*

A question for the mods though - sorry, but I don't think my storyteller page has been updated since my first couple of prompts?  And I'm down as doing four wafer cookies, although I've only done one...  Am I looking at the right page?  I wasn't.  :)

“What?  No!”
“Hah!  How’d you like them eggs!”
“I can’t believe you just did that!  And, uh, shouldn’t that be ‘apples’?”
“Eggs taste better.  Anyway, want to play again?”
“Not if you’re going to cheat, no.”
“That was a perfectly legitimate strategy!”
“What?!  How can you-”
“Easily.  It’s in the rules - want to check?”
“Ugh, no.”
“Want to invite your boyfriend to play instead?”
Jonathan!
“Because it’s either you or him.”
“Not if you’re gonna-
“-or I’ll be forced to put your rent up.”
“Oh for-”
“Shall I deal, or will you?”

Your total was off, but everything else was right - are you looking at the lj page or the new one http://sites.google.com/site/runawaydata/ ?

The lj one blew up a few days into the spotlight - too many new people and we exceded the amount of stuff you can put in an lj post - so we moved it

I was indeed looking at the wrong one, on the rats_data page. *is an idiot!* Thanks for that, I'll bookmark the new one. :)

I couldn't entirely work out how they were behaving, but I think you've got it exactly right! Also, I'm rather amused because Simon is indeed younger than Jonathan but I can't remember if I ever said it, so I'm really happy that's how you see them! <3

It always fascinates me how many variations there are on "How'd you like them _______!" XD;; I've heard eggs, apples, tomatoes... It's like "mad as a ______", which endlessly fascinates me too (I've heard bike, fish, brick, box of frogs...)

I always wonder how anyone can shout something like that at moments of victory - it's a little weird. XD;;;

ROFL that's fantastic! LOL, reminds me of me and my friends playing monopoly. "... sell me Oriental or I'll kill you." :3

Haha, I think that's probably the best way to approach Monopoly! XD Blackmail and extortion~ *g*

I've never been all that big on board and card games but sometimes my friends invite me to play and it's like... an alien world. XD;;; But apparently a very inspiring one - particularly when you have a friend who lets out very unmanly but hugely funny howls of anguish. XD;;;

All dialogue is really... weird for me, since I'm so prone to rambling. But I just love writing Simon and Jonathan's interactions. XD;

(And it's quite handy for times when you're elsewise distracted, except for having to stop to count the words...)
