aren't you glad you asked?

Author: Nathalia
Rating: PG
Black Raspberry #2 - as you make your bed, so you must lie in it
Quince #24 - aren't you glad you asked?
Extras / Toppings:
Word Count: 322
Story: Misfits
Summary: In the beginning, the Misfits--and Wes in particular--screwed up even more than later on.
Notes: This is completely silly because I chose the weekly prompt and then couldn't come up with anything for it.

Wes was still humming as if nothing had happened while he emptied the dishwasher, the dishes clattering against each other more than they absolutely needed to, Face decided, but maybe he was being a bit judgmental there.

“Do you know how much you gave her?” He was sitting in the chair he had fallen into earlier during the conversation, probably due to shock. “So we at least know you didn’t accidentally kill her by overdose or something.”

Wes had a dishtowel slung around his shoulder and had his back turned to Face who desperately wished that someone with medical knowledge was here. “Three. I crushed them and put them in her drinks.”

“Plural?” Face wondered if anyone would think it overkill if he shed one or two tears of desperation right now. It didn’t surprise him in the least that Wes had sneaked the sleeping pills into alcoholic beverages. That he had almost expected.

Wes turned to him with a look of irritation. “Of course. Do you think I’d be stupid enough to put three sleeping pills into one drink? Most of it would stick to the bottom and she wouldn’t end up drinking even half of it.”

“And maybe then we wouldn’t have to worry about her possibly being dead now because we can’t track her down and you decided to go overboard. Where’s the rest of the pills so I can see how many you can take without falling into a coma and dying or something?”

“I threw them out. You know, destroy the evidence and shit.”

Face rolled his eyes. “Of course you did. I ask you to do one thing well once and not screw up and you end up … I don’t even want to think about it. Next time I’ll do it.”

“But I did steal her handbag.”

“A mugging would have been just as effective but no, you had to seduce and accidentally kill her.”

LOL, talk about overkill, Wes! The objective was just to get her hand-bag??

Three sleeping pills + three drinks does sound kiiiind of dangerous, but I like Wes's logic. er, "logic"

He likes to be thorough. It might not have been his best plan ever ;)

haha thanks. It's always good to know he's missed.

Sleeping pills AND alcohol? That's not a good idea, Wes!

Good thing he did throw them away or the rest would all be crammed down his throat by now.

And he might also have slept with her just to be safe though I have no idea how that would contribute to the plan ;)

LOL I love Wes's logic in defending the use of multiple drinks ;)

I hope for all their sakes that the woman is all right.

We'll never know if she turns out to be alright unless I spin this into some kind of desperate tragic tale of her body being found somewhere and it all being misunderstood. I can't decide if that would be incredibly funny or sad.

Ahaha omg oh WES. Looks like Face learned this lesson the hard way.

I feel like people would learn to not give Wes any jobs at some point but then there'd be no fun stories to tell anymore.

Ahahaha, oh god, Wes. Poor Face :P And I love how Wes is doing something as mundane as emptying the dishwasher during this :P

Dishes need to be done, no matter how stupidly you might have accidentally killed someone to steal their handbag.

This is why you don't give these jobs to Wes, Face ;) Very funny, especially the way Wes casually carries on cleaning throughout. Nicely done :)

In Face's defense, he was not in charge. That one's all Dennis' fault.
