Story Arc: The World of !!!
Title: Three Kingdoms
Summary: A short introduction of the world only known as !!!, and the three main kingdoms that thrive in it.
A/N: Another new arc, huh? I blame Discworld and a whole slew of other fantasy/sci-fi books for this. Also, how many flavors am I working on now? :P
So yeah, I managed to think up of a sort-of history for this new 'verse in a matter of hours. Well, I thought up of characters and stories for them a long time ago, but the history for an entire territory? Yep, just now. So yeah, enjoy.

Somewhere, in some other galaxy a good distance away from the Milky Way, a planet spun around a star that looked much like needle, as it was seen by the inhabitants of this planet. A single continent comprised the otherwise seventy-percent aquatic planet--at least, that's what the scholars of that world wanted to believe.
The world, simply known as !!! (pronunciation differs from language to language), started out as a vast kingdom nestled in the heart of a mountain range. Apart from the few tribes and villages that scattered amongst the badlands, it comprised the entire population of this world--never exceeding eight digits, all humans, monsters, and hybrids considered. Everything seemed to be the way it usually it--more or less peaceful, minus the minor scuffles here and there--and then the jealousy of a few, less-than-sympathetic gods got in the way and drove the leaders and citizens out into the dangerous, heavily forested territories--a good deal away from the mountains.
To these gods' frustration, their commotion did a great deal of strengthening these new kingdoms. After the calamities and death tolls subsided, the people saw new territories and learned means of living. The remnants of the once powerful kingdom set out to rebuild themselves to majestic proportions--eventually making the old kingdom an inkling of what they are now.
The three kingdoms of the world lived harmoniously, helping out each other whenever the situation prompts the need of help. One had the strengths the other depended upon, from the dragon-hybrids of Drukku!n, living in hilly territories and stone fortresses; to the seafaring people of Oyspring, with their ships and sea monsters; to the nature-worshipping people of Fau-Lorantine, living amongst a vast menagerie of creatures and forest spirits.
These are stories of the three kingdoms and the people who lived in it--a history spanning thousands of millennia, and then some.
