"Are you sure about this?"
"I bought a ring. Of course I'm sure." Joseph snatched the small velvet box from Dennis' hand and stuffing it back into his pocket.
"Have you even thought this through? You realize she'll want to move in with us and that she and I don't really get along?"
"Actually, she wouldn't be moving in with us. I'd be moving in with her."
Dennis' confused look almost made up for his lack of support. He opened his mouth several times but nothing intelligible came out.
Joseph grinned. "Since you've been rendered speechless, I don't think I'll get any more protests, will I?"

Uh, as for missing, I have no idea if you've missed anything of mine. I've been pretty hit and miss myself as far as writing. Marina and I finished TR/Taking Root a while back if you were reading that. Other than that, my stuff was all over the place. If you like a particular character or time period of mine, lemme now and Ill let you know if I wrote anything with them/from them :P
I'll poke around your tag as soon as I find the time to. I think I need to restart reading TR, I think I got lost at some point.
